One: Oiling well
Oiling is a step to maintain a good excavator, a seemingly simple task, but it can directly affect the life of the excavator. The role of oil is to lubricate the various parts of the excavator, prevent the working parts from friction causing high temperatures, and avoid sand and other dirt from entering the gap between the working device connections causing wear. Do not fill the excavator with grease on time, will lead to the oil does not play a sealing role, thus increasing the wear between the parts, reducing the service life of the excavator.
Two: switch to low-viscosity diesel and engine oil
Winter temperature is low, the viscosity of various oils increases, so the engine will become difficult to start, it is necessary to switch to diesel and oil with low viscosity.
Three: change different grade of engine oil according to the actual situation
In general, the freezing point of diesel oil should be lower than the lowest local temperature of 7~10℃. In the low-temperature environment, if the appropriate grade of diesel oil is not replaced in time, it will directly affect the fluidity of diesel oil, increase its viscosity, resulting in poor atomization, which will directly lead to a decline in the dynamics and economic performance of diesel engines.
Four: excavator battery maintenance
Lower temperatures will lead to a decrease in the battery's storage capacity, which should be covered with quilts and other clothing to keep the battery warm, or directly remove the battery and store it indoors, to be installed again before the next day's work. If the battery electrolyte level is found to be too low, distilled water or electrolyte should be added in the next morning before work. Do not add it after the completion of the day to prevent it from freezing at night.
V: Management of excavator antifreeze
When using the excavator in winter, you should add antifreeze to the cooling system of the excavator. When the equipment does not require construction work needs to be put on hold for a period of time, the cooling water in the engine should be emptied. When releasing water, before turning off the engine, the excavator should run at idle speed, wait until the temperature of the cooling water drops below 60℃ and feel that the water temperature is not hot, then turn off the engine and release the water. Avoid premature release of cooling water, the body is attacked by cold air at higher temperatures, resulting in sudden shrinkage and cracks in the body.
