Excavator uphill precautions

Jun 18, 2022

1, Excavator uphill swing arm do not move

On the slope do not do digging arm swing action, because in the slope, the excavator's center of gravity is shifted, which will easily make the excavator lose its center of gravity and tumble down the slope. So to: prevent the center of gravity change lead to the instability of the body tipped over. Especially when the bucket is fully loaded do not leave the surface of the slope.

2, Excavators on the slope to avoid walking sideways

Be sure to avoid excavators on the slope to do lateral walking movement, so it is easy to destabilize tipping. Excavators are also very dangerous when going downhill, so remember to lower the bucket 20 to 30 cm from the ground, parallel to the slope, operate the excavator with a slow speed downhill, the slope is steep when you can let the bucket first land to support the braking effect.

3, Excavator uphill do not exceed 35 degrees slope

It is also very dangerous to change the direction of travel arbitrarily when bending downhill. The general crawler excavator's engine limit climbing angle is 35 degrees. So do not operate the excavator to climb a slope greater than 35 degrees!
