The disc harrow is mainly suitable for stubble removal before ploughing, surface hardening, straw shredding and returning to the field, soil smashing after ploughing, leveling and moisture preservation, etc. It can also replace the plough for soil ploughing operations on mature land. The disc harrow has high operating efficiency and strong ability to break into the soil. After harrowing, the surface is flat and the soil is loose and broken. It has strong adaptability to heavy sticky soil, wasteland and land with many weeds.
There are three methods for the correct use of disc harrows:
1, the set harrow divides the plot into equal-width plots, similar to the set farming method. This method can avoid small turns, and has high work efficiency.
2, the shuttle harrow is similar to the prismatic rotary tillage method. This method is relatively simple, the unit has to turn a big turn at the headland, so the headland is longer.
3, the traveling direction of the diagonal harrow unit is at a certain angle with the direction of the cultivated land, preferably 45 degrees, so it is also called an inclined harrow. This method actually rakes the ground twice, and it works well on flat ground.
